What you get

  • 48 prompt cards, every one about the bride: 12 Truth, 12 Toast, 12 Dare, 12 Confession (32 Mild, 16 Spicy)
  • 8 rules cards: turn order, passing with a non-drinking option, the bride’s turn, end and tie rules, the kinds and heat marks

  • Two-sided set with a designed card back (pages 5–20) and a one-sided set without backs (pages 21–28)

  • Fillable: type the bride’s name once on page 1; it fills “For …” on every prompt card and blank card

How it is played

  1. Shuffle and stack the cards face down. The player on the bride’s left starts; play passes left.
  2. Draw, read it aloud and do it. On a TRUTH, the bride answers.
  3. If the bride says it counts, you keep the card. Any card can be passed for a sip, or a compliment to the bride if you are not drinking.
  4. When the stack runs out or the bride calls “last round”, most cards kept wins. A tie is settled with a one-line toast each.

Dare cards for a bachelorette party, plus truths, toasts and confessions

Each of the four kinds has 8 MILD and 4 SPICY cards: 12 Truths, 12 Toasts, 12 Dares and 12 Confessions. MILD cards (heart) are a full game on their own. SPICY cards (flame and the word SPICY) are bolder and optional; any of them can be skipped for free, and a mild-only deck is simply sheets 1–6.

The 8 rules cards cover turn order, passing, the bride’s turn and the end of the game, so the rules sit on the table instead of in your head.

What you type in the PDF

Type the bride’s name once on page 1 of the PDF: it shows as “For …” on every prompt card and blank card. The prompts keep “the bride” and “her partner”. Write your own prompts on the 8 blank cards by hand.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What are some good truth or dare questions for a bachelorette party?

The best ones are about the bride, so everyone has a story. From our mild cards: “Bride-to-be, what was the very first thing you noticed about your partner?”, “Do your best impression of the bride ordering at a restaurant. She rates it out of ten.”, “Confess your first impression of the bride. Were you right?”

What are some easy games to play at a bachelorette party?

A card game with the rules on the cards: print, cut and play, with no host role. Truths, Toasts and Dares has 8 rules cards in the deck, and the whole group plays, the bride included.
